DIY wedding favors

For our wedding, I created CD’s with some of the big band music that we’ll be playing at the reception.  Are CD’s the most unique gift for a wedding?  Probably not.  But we were left with few options since we didn’t want to give away something with our name or initials on it (remember the single monogramed wine glass you got at your cousins wedding?  Useful, huh.)  And since we’ll be outside in July, edible favors were also knocked off the list.  I’m happy with the end result though.

All of the pieces of the project (minus the CD) were purchased through Paper Source, my favorite local and online supply store.  I used their diagonal folder enclosures in gravel tied with Moss Green 1″ double faced satin ribbon.  The playlist is printed on their Luxe series paper, a textured version of their text and cover weight papers, in the color Glass (now discontinued).  The damask square on the front is the Brocade White Opal fine paper cut down to a 3.5″ square.
